I am a senior undergraduate at UW-Madison studying Rehabilitation Psychology and getting a Certificate in Global Health. I have worked with elderly individuals throughout my work as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and with young kids as a Lead Respite Care Specialist at Gio’s Garden. I believe that looking at an individual holistically can lead to better treatments, interventions, and prevention of all different kinds of disabilities and disorders. I am extremely interested in how environmental factors influence the presence of externalizing disorders in children, while also investigating how the genetic factors play a role in such disorders. I plan on graduating in May of 2017 and pursuing graduate school to get my Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
