I am a first-year PhD student in Clinical Psychology interested in genetic and environmental mechanisms that contribute to the development of psychopathology among children and adolescents, examined from a transdiagnostic perspective. I am originally from Chengdu, China. I graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and then worked for two years as a research assistant in the Department of Psychiatry at Emory. At UW, I look forward to continuing diving into research, conducting assessments, and interacting with children and families. Outside of the lab, I enjoy dancing, exercising, and listening to Spotify. I like trying many different sports, even if I am not skilled at any of them, but I especially value the fun and energy that team sports bring.
