Arjit Malik Anand
I’m a first-year graduate student in UW–Madison’s Psychology M.S. program in Data Science in
Human Behavior. My research interests center on the development of psychopathology,
particularly how cognitive-affective dysfunction translates into maladaptive behavior. I approach
these questions primarily through attachment and personality frameworks, with growing interest
in their neural and genetic underpinnings. I’m originally from California and completed my
undergraduate degree at Whitman College, where I double majored in Psychology and
Economics and served as Head Research Assistant in the Personality Lab. Outside of research,
I enjoy combat sports, tennis, horror movies, and making tea.
