Congratulations to Brooke on matching with the UCSF Child and Adolescent Services (CAS) Multicultural Clinical Training Program (MCTP)! The MCTP is embedded in the Division of Infant, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in UCSF’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. This one-year clinical residency begins in fall 2026 and will serve as the final requirement for completion of her PhD in clinical psychology.
At UCSF, Brooke will provide culturally responsive, evidence-based care for children, youth, and families from underserved communities. The MCTP emphasizes leadership and advocacy training for advancement of the profession and for removing barriers people face to access high-quality, evidence-based care. She will also complete a specialty track in adolescent substance use and mental health, conducting comprehensive forensic assessments with adolescents in the juvenile legal system.
We cannot say how much we will miss Brooke, but we are so excited for her next step in her career, and have no doubt she will do incredible work in San Francisco and beyond! Congrats, and best of luck Brooke!
